The staff meals are extremely delicious and refined as well as free to all employees! Benefits are average and they do match 401k. The first 2 hours of my day are spent cooking a staff meal for the entire building. Management is very good with giving you days off for whatever reason. I actually have time to enjoy my craft since we are not always slammed busy. I get to cook with some of the finest fish and meat on the planet. Food cost isn't really a concern because it caters exclusively to members. The most I'll serve on a lunch service is around 40 people. They take care of their employees as long as you take care of their high end clientel. Tired of the long hours and weekends, Queen City Club is a rare gem for any chef. Most of my experience is fine dining although I have done a few chains. I have worked in multiple areas of cuisine and cooked at around 20 different restaurants. I have managed and have done just about everything with B.O.H and F.O.H. I have worked as a professional chef for 15 years now.
